These terms cover your use of Tempe Home Service (TempeHomeService.com), a directory run by Jesse Thomas. By using the site you agree to them.
What the directory is
We list home service businesses that serve Tempe, AZ. Listings are built from public information such as business websites, public directories and the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. A listing is not an endorsement, and we don't guarantee any business's work, prices, licensing, insurance or availability.
Check before you hire
Information can be out of date or wrong. Before you hire anyone, confirm licenses yourself (for contractors at roc.az.gov, for pest control through the Arizona Department of Agriculture), ask about insurance, and get written quotes. Only listings marked Verified have been confirmed with the business by phone, and only as of the date shown.
Cost guides
Cost guides show published price ranges from the sources cited on each guide. They are not quotes. Your price depends on your home and the job.
AI search
The project search box and "Ask AI about this pro" use an AI model to match your words to listings. Answers can be incomplete or wrong. Treat them as a starting point and check the details with the business.
Quote requests
When you send a quote request, we pass the details you enter to the business you picked, as described in our privacy policy. Any agreement for work is between you and the business. We are not a party to it and don't take payments.
Corrections and removal
If you own or work for a listed business and something is wrong, or you want a photo, logo or the whole listing removed, use the Update a listing form. We review every request and aim to make corrections and removals within a few business days.
Photos, logos and credits
Business photos and logos on listings come from that business's own public website or profiles and remain theirs. They are used only to identify the business, and we remove them on request. Category photos are stock images labeled "Stock photo" and are credited on our About page.
Acceptable use
Don't submit false information, spam the forms, scrape the site in bulk or try to break it. We may block traffic that does.
Limits of liability
The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using the site or from hiring any listed business.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Questions: please use the Update a listing form for now. A TempeHomeService.com email address is coming soon.
